I’m a husband, a father, freelance software engineer, and coffee lover. I have a passion for making cool stuff. My goal with this website is to share some of that passion with you.
I started programming when I was 12 and never stopped. I built an automated business that retrieved foreclosure addresses from various county clerk websites and automatically emailed those addresses to clients when I was 16. It also emailed bills to clients at the end of each month. The clerk website started forcing you to agree not to use robots…I shut down the business.
I went to the University of Toledo for Computer Science & Engineering. Interned at RIGID tool doing server side java development and Android development. Javascript and html were used heavily during my stay at RIGID tool.
Worked at Ciholas, INC from 2011 to 2015 working on mining safety, rf, IP protocols, decawave ranging protocol. C was used heavily.
In 2015 wonder lust hit and I left the company to travel . I traveled around central america, went scuba diving, did the full immersion Spanish language school thing, and did lots of sign seeing.
Eventually, realizing once again that I both like to program and need to make money I entered the freelance game. I then started working on prosaas.net. I have worked heavily with meteor, javascript, html5, css3 for the while writing a chrome extension for browser process documentation. I have since worked on a marketing automation platform and CRM for a talent acquisition company. Using technologies including angular, node, and postgresql, we created a CRM and marketing automation platform.
